Samantha Amicangelo has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2017, and has been working in the special education/autism field since 2011. She received her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education & Psychology from UMass Amherst, and her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Simmons College. Samantha has held various leadership positions at ABA companies where she has mentored BCBAs to provide high quality services to children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. She also has extensive experience working in both general and special education classrooms. Drawing on these professional experiences helps her to provide feedback to families on the appropriateness of their child’s classroom and IEP, given his or her diagnosis. Samantha lives in Woburn with her husband, son, stepson (who is on the autism spectrum), and Bernedoodle.
