Kid CenterEd was born out of a desire to serve the whole child with an integrated team and a
holistic approach. While each of our practitioners has many years of experience with other
practices and on their own, we’ve come together to provide a broader base of support for
students and their families to better help them navigate both private and public educational
systems right up through college and adulthood.
Position Overview:
We seek a dedicated and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our private
practice team. KidCenterED is a unique practice that is comprised of neuropsychologists,
special educators, and educational advocates who work together to identify children’s strengths
and areas of need in order to help families navigate their development and schooling.
As a BCBA, you will be responsible for consultation, evaluation, and observation of school
programs for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.
You will be working with families who are trying to understand their child’s needs and ensure
that their school programming is appropriately done with fidelity. You will evaluate individualized
treatment plans to help guide families and school providers in formulating and implementing
appropriate services with the ultimate aim of improving the quality of life of our clients. This is an

Responsibilities:
• Conduct Assessments: Perform comprehensive behavioral assessments, including
functional behavior assessments (FBAs), VB-MAPP, and functional analyses, to
understand the child’s functioning and to track progress.
• Observe school programs to ensure that programming is appropriate, done with fidelity,
and with correctly trained providers.
• Develop Individualized Plans: Design evidence-based and person-centered behavior
intervention programs tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Write reports with the child’s history, any assessments, school observations, your
interpretations, and recommendations.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Monitor and analyze client data to assess progress, make
data-based decisions, and advise on treatment strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
• Family/Caregiver Training: Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide training on
behavior management techniques and strategies for generalization and maintenance of
skills.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with other professionals, such as
speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and educators, to ensure a
comprehensive and integrated approach to treatment.
• Continuous Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research,
advancements, and best practices in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and
related areas.
• Maintain Ethical Standards: Adhere to the ethical guidelines set forth by the Behavior
Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and maintain client confidentiality.
Qualifications:
• Board Certification: Must hold a current and active BCBA certification from the Behavior
Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Education: A master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education,
Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience conducting assessments, developing behavior
intervention plans, and providing ABA therapy to individuals with autism and
developmental disabilities.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively
interact with clients, families, and team members.
• Leadership Abilities: Ability to have confidence in your findings and recommendations.
• Data Analysis: Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and using data to make informed
decisions.
• Compassion and Empathy: A genuine passion for helping individuals with special needs
and their families and the ability to establish a positive rapport.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and treatment strategies as
required.
• Time Management: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to independently
manage caseload effectively.
• Licensing: A valid state license to practice ABA or related therapies.

This is a hybrid position with some remote and some in-person work. Most work is from
