KidCentered is thrilled to announce the latest addition to our team, Dr. Amanda Hayes, who joins us as a distinguished child psychologist. With a career dedicated to the academic and psychological growth of young minds, Dr. Hayes brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to our center in Concord, Massachusetts.

A Rich Background in Child Psychology

Dr. Hayes holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William James College and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Middlebury College. Over the past decade, she has honed her skills in neuropsychological and academic assessments, therapeutic interventions, and educational team consultations. This extensive experience makes her uniquely qualified to support the diverse needs of the families and educators we work with at KidCentered.

Specialized Expertise

Before joining us, Dr. Hayes served as a Consulting Psychologist for local public school districts and a Child Psychologist at the Manville School at the Judge Baker Children’s Center in Boston. There, she specialized in therapeutic interventions and neuropsychological assessments, crafting strategies that have transformed educational outcomes for countless students.

Her role as a School Psychologist across various Massachusetts schools further solidified her expertise in special education, behavioral assessments, and personalized educational programming. Dr. Hayes’s approach is both holistic and detailed, ensuring that each child’s educational journey is as supportive and effective as possible.

An Advocate for Children with Unique Educational Needs

Dr. Hayes is nationally recognized as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and holds licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in Massachusetts. Her specialization in evaluating and completing school-based observations for children with emotional regulation challenges, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, and executive dysfunction, is particularly crucial. These areas are among the most demanding and rewarding, requiring a sensitive, knowledgeable approach that Dr. Hayes excels in.
